THE SPACE

 

Perched between Waynesville and Asheville, this Canton hideaway boasts 1,700 square feet of sparkling living space. Indulge your inner chef in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy your guests wrapped around the custom-made dining room table that seats 8 comfortably.

Top off the perfect mountain adventurous days with after-dinner drinks beneath the umbrellas on the spacious deck looking out over the mountains. Kids and adults will love the games, s’mores by the fire pit, and a soak in the private hot tub any time.

LIVING AREA

Make yourself at home in the welcoming living room, detailed with an oversize sectional, comfy chaise lounge, a 65” TV, and a beautifully upgraded fireplace for ambiance and/or heat.

Play a friendly board game, get creative in a coloring book, or get lost in one of the many books available to you.

The front window is a wonderful place to settle in and stay awhile. It boasts amazing views, comfy seating for two, and character all of its own with a one-of-a-kind coffee table. Also, a meditation pillow is available for one more to join in this peaceful nook.

KITCHEN & DINING

Whip up delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen, configured with ample counter space as well as an array of helpful gadgets and cookware. Whether you desire to whip a pie or cook low and slow with a crockpot, you will be pleasantly surprised at all the kitchen offers. Some spices and pantry condiments are supplied for your convenience while at our home.

The kitchen and dining room were created as a gathering place for home-cooked meals or late-night games around the dining room table set for eight.

BED & BATH

This raised ranch home sleeps 8 guests between three bedrooms. All bedrooms have a walk-in closet and USB charging station. The split plan features the master bedroom and bath on one side and 2 bedrooms and a full bath on the other side. The kitchen, dining room, and living space are in the center of the home.

Comfort awaits in the tranquil master suite, appointed with a comfy king bed, office nook, and an en-suite bathroom with a garden tub and stand-up shower.

The guest suite has a queen bed with the most amazing million-dollar views.

The third whimsical bedroom is furnished with 2 twin-over-twin bunk beds and a walk-in closet. We highly recommend the upper twin beds be for children only.

Do you have a little one? In the master bedroom walk-in closet, you will find a pack n play, high chair, and stroller.  

While staying at this peaceful getaway, you are welcome to use towels, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are supplied. We want your stay to be convenient and stress-free.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Sip morning coffee in a comfy chair on your expansive front porch while listening to the free-flowing creek.

Relax into a hammock swing for a good book or an afternoon nap, then share after-dinner drinks comfortably seated on your deck or around the fire pit. Rejuvenate with a soak in the hot tub and take in the mountain views. (The hot tub is brand new June 2021)

Grill out all your favorites on a propane gas grill located on the front deck. For ease in using and clean up, reusable grill mats are provided. These amazing BBQ Grill Mats are a perfect non-stick barbecue solution!
They are hand washable and dishwasher safe. PFOA free, PTFE-Fiberglass coating, safe up to 500F, FDA approved.

Parking is provided for 3 vehicles in the driveway, 2 cars below beside the basement, and 1 behind the house at the back door.

Situated 4 miles to the west of downtown Canton, this mountain-view retreat provides desirable proximity to scenic nearby waterfalls, hiking paths, and biking trails. Most adventures are within a 25-minute drive. We suggest Graveyard Fields, Chimney Rock, and of course the Biltmore Estate.
A local favorite is our very own Canton located BearWaters Brewing Company along the Pigeon River. Outside and inside seating for amazing food, beverages, and small-town feel. Also located in Canton is the Pigeon River Outfitter’s! They can hook you up for all of your family water needs; kayaking, tubing, paddle boarding, and canoeing.

Explore downtown Asheville, located just 20 miles away, and discover eclectic music halls, farm-fresh eateries, and fantastic breweries. Stop along the way to visit the historic Art District, quaint Black Mountain, or the Western North Carolina Nature Center.
